Hand crank magneto generator G25A/PT "GA-2857-14-2 or listed also as G-25A/PT GA-2857-14-3 from FTR or Federal Telephone & Radio Corp," which is the stenciled label on one unit I purchased a few years ago. which later merged with Kellogg Switchboard Company around 1945. Also labeled on a unit is the following: "loud click when used in SB-22 Switchboard"

Like new. Never used. Wires were snipped off from the three contact connectors -- not unsoldered. Easy to attach connecting wires for other uses for DIY'ers or to replace a defective G-42A/PT in a SB-22/PT switchboard. This a "pull" hand crank generator from a New AN/GRC-6 Remote unit. The new Remotes were never used and dismantled for the several components to "repurpose" and for the internal electrical components and it's metal content. I have the new hand crank generators from them that are also compatible for the Signal Corps SB-22/PTswitchboard before the G-42A/PT hand crank generator replaced them. These are not compatible with the TA-312/PT only because the size dimensions won't fit in the lower case enclosure. However they will fit the SB-22/PT, as shown in the photos attached to this listing in the TA-221/PT operator's pack. The wires were "snipped" from the three contact points and not "unsoldered." Of course also fits the AN/GRC-6 Remote units where they were initially removed from. The weight of each is about 1.5 lbs. Shipping is approximately about 9.00 to 11.00, contingent on your address/location.

By the way, I also have the "Bells" or ringers available that works like the BZ-23/PT, but of course sounds more like the bell in the older landline commercial black telephones. Will ring from the 20 hz ringing current from a TA-312/PT or this same hand crank generator. I'm selling this for $14.95. Although I haven't tested it yet, I would bet that it could replace the BZ-23/PT, with a softer ringing tone. Will will combine both hand generator and bell ringer for $29.95. I also listed these bells separately and in a combined listing with this maganeto generator.
